The Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics. Adult/Infant/Child CPR, AED, and Choking skills will be conducted via the "practice while watching" approach. Two person rescue and bag-mask ventilation will be covered. Content in this course will be provided by the American Heart Association. Class is scheduled for 4 hours but will likely take about 3 hours to complete the content for those who are renewing their certification. Hands-on skills test and written exam will be conducted. A student handbook will be provided to you the day of class and may be used for the written exam. Following the completion of class, your certification card will be e-mailed to you via the information provided at registration. When registering for class, please choose ONE of the following dates to attend class: Wednesday 11/19/2025 5-9pm, Wednesday 12/17/2025 5-9pm, Friday 01/02/2026 1-5 pm.
