Bethany Gerdes, RN, BSN is a certified CPR Instructor through the American Heart Association. She is trained in the most current AHA course materials and is passionate about equipping others with the knowledge and confidence to respond in an emergency and potentially save a life. Bethany earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Point Loma Nazarene University and brings 15 years of nursing experience across a variety of settings, including Telemetry, Labor & Delivery, and school and community nursing. She is passionate about making a meaningful impact in her community by teaching others the importance of CPR and empowering them to feel prepared when it matters most. Outside of CPR instruction, Bethany is a busy mom of five who enjoys spending time with her family, camping, hiking, and traveling to National Parks. After experiencing a near-choking emergency involving a loved one, Bethany gained an even deeper appreciation for the importance of knowing what to do in an emergency. She finds great meaning in helping others.
